Introduction

As a global leader in recruitment, Indeed is built on people – both the candidates they support and the teams powering their mission to help people get jobs. With over 10,000 employees operating in 60+ countries, effective learning and development is critical to their continued success. This means delivering engaging, accessible elearning at scale – across teams, languages, and time zones – and without compromising quality.

We spoke to Dash Moodley, Lead Learning Partner at Indeed, to find out how they’re achieving this.

How has Indeed transformed its learning approach?

Indeed’s learning culture is rooted in accessibility and continuous improvement. The aim is to provide training that meets their global employees wherever they are, giving them the resources they need to grow.

This came into sharp focus when the COVID pandemic forced a rapid digital learning transformation. People realized that they don’t have to take an ‘either/or’ approach – live sessions or elearning. Instead, they started saying ‘yes and…’, focusing on blended learning programs with digital at its core. This has enabled Indeed to scale impactful, engaging content across their diverse and distributed workforce, fostering consistent development opportunities for all.

Elucidat allowed us to begin a new approach – focusing more on elearning that’s accessible for different markets, different countries, different languages, and different levels of knowledge.”

What’s been achieved so far?

Indeed couldn’t improve the quality of their learning if they didn’t know what impact they were aiming for. Over the past seven years, they’ve built systems and processes to track learning effectiveness and align their initiatives with business priorities.

Building from this foundation, they can continually refine and improve. They’re making data driven decisions that drive greater impact and genuine Return On Investment (ROI) across their organizations. In the process, they’ve moved from reacting to training requests to becoming key business partners.

Dash Moodley

What we’re most proud about in Indeed’s digital learning transformation is the progress that we’ve made in measuring impact and, in some cases, genuine ROI. Something that was nearly impossible before.”

What’s next?

Now it’s clear what impact their training transformation is having, Indeed is committed to making their learning even more integrated and effective.

To do this, they’re prioritizing the learning technology tools and platforms that can support data driven insights, effective collaboration, and continuously experimenting with new approaches.

Dash’s top tip? “Define your digital learning objectives, because your vision will guide your strategy. And what I mean by that is taking a data driven approach and thinking about how you can align with business needs”.

In summary

With Elucidat, Indeed has reimagined how learning works across a global enterprise. The result? Learning experiences that are built to scale, backed by data, and ready to support every employee.
